The Rekindling: A Visual Home for Omni's Ecstatic-Dance Set
A site for The Rekindling, Omni's single unbroken dance set; with an animated tempo-wave visualisation that lets visitors see the night rise from stillness to fire and back to dawn.
One Unbroken Set, Shaped Like a Wave
The Rekindling is a single, continuous dance set by Omni, made for a week-long Radical Faerie gathering held around Beltane near Bergeijk in the Netherlands. Inspired by ecstatic dance, it moves as one long breath; from the stillness of late winter, up through the wild communal fire of the peak, and down into the soft ash of dawn.
Because the whole set is the song, with no track to skip to, it needed a site that could communicate a shape rather than a playlist. Drake Design Studio built a home for the album that makes its rise-and-fall structure visible, sets it in the context of the gathering, and invites anyone to take the journey for themselves.

The Challenge
The Rekindling isn't a normal album. It's one continuous set with no breaks, designed to be felt as a single arc that rises from around 60 beats per minute to a pounding peak and back down to a slow dawn. Presenting it as a flat list of fifteen tracks would have missed the entire point.
The set also carries a lot of meaning from the gathering it was made for; rituals around a fire, ash marked on foreheads, the language of Radical Faerie community. The site had to honour that context for people who were there, while remaining warm and legible to a stranger who stumbles in with no idea what Beltane or NOTAFLOF means. And, as ever, free listening had to be open to anyone.
Our Approach
The centrepiece is an animated tempo-wave visualisation: a chart that plots every track's energy across the night, so visitors can literally see the set climb to its peak and settle back to dawn. It turns an abstract "shape" into something you can read at a glance, and anchors the whole experience.
Around it, we structured the site into the set's three movements (The Gathering, The Fire, The Afterglow), with track cards detailing tempo, key, and texture, and gentle context for the rituals embedded in the music. A short lexicon quietly explains the Faerie terms for newcomers, the firelit art direction keeps it tender rather than clinical, and a clear free-stream link keeps the whole thing open to all.
The Outcome
The Shape Made Visible
The animated tempo-wave is the moment that lands; visitors instantly grasp that this is one arc, not fifteen songs, and understand why the set asks to be heard whole.
Warm to Insiders and Newcomers Alike
Ritual context and a gentle lexicon let those who were at the fire relive it, while welcoming anyone who arrives cold; nobody needs prior knowledge to feel at home.
Open to Everyone
A prominent free-stream route means the full set is available with no account or subscription, true to the gathering's spirit of no one turned away.
A Cohesive Companion to VOLCANIC
Built to sit alongside Omni's VOLCANIC microsite, The Rekindling shares a considered, music-first design language; growing a recognisable presence for the artist across releases.
